Bluenose II Undergoing Major Restoration In 2010 & 2011

Bluenose II will not be offering cruises or making port visits in 2010 & 2011.
Nova Scotia's famous sailing ambassador is undergoing a major restoration during 2010 & 2011 to ensure its legacy for many years to come. A replica of the original on the Canadian dime, Bluenose II will return to sailing in the summer of 2012. The restoration is taking place at the Lunenburg Shipyard, site of the original construction in the 1960s, so the public can see and learn about preserving this important piece of Nova Scotia's heritage.
